Prices
At Cleveland Flight Training we
believe in being honest with our students from the outset, therefore
we have listed below the costs associated
with gaining a PPL. In addition we offer a special discount
scheme for students who wish to deposit a lump sum for training. We
also offer free membership to students unlike many other
training facilities.
The PPL course is a minimum of 45
hours. The aircraft is charged at the dual rate so a course in the
C152 is £6,075 and the PA28 is £6,975. In addition the student will
be expected to cover the cost of training equipment, test fees,
airport security fees, medical and landing charges. An estimate for
the full course is about £7,000 in a C152.
Advanced courses include Night
Ratings and IMC ratings. These also have minimum requirements for
flight hours. The night rating is 5 hours and the IMC is 15 hours.
The costs are £675 for the night rating and £2,025. for the IMC
rating.
